How to Extract a ZIP File in Your Browser
A step-by-step guide to opening ZIP, 7Z and RAR files without uploading them to any server.
Step 1 — Open UnzipIt
Go to the homepage. You'll see a large drop zone — that's the tool.
Step 2 — Add your archive
Either drag and drop the file onto the page, or click Choose archive and pick it from your computer. Supported formats include:
ZIP,7Z,RAR,TAR,GZ,TGZISO,CAB,JAR,APK, and many Office documents
Step 3 — Handle encrypted archives
If the archive is password protected, type the password into the field that appears and click Retry.
